Kimaaya did not start in a studio with a mood board and a
five-year plan, rather it started on a simple phone call where two childhood
friends were completely clueless about their future.

We started it in a conversation that went on a little too
long, where one idea led to another and suddenly it's late and you've
accidentally decided to build something together.

That’s us, Pranjal and Mohit. Two friends, together since
class 2. Pranjal came back to a business she’d been circling around her whole
life and; Mohit was figuring out what came next. We met somewhere in middle and
decided to stop waiting for the right moment. That’s how Kimaaya came
into existence.

Kimaaya means powerful and divine miracle, something
that is feminine and powerful.

Not in a grand, untouchable way. In a quiet way, something
that makes you feel empowered when you’re dressed into it. When the details are
right and you don't have to think about it anymore.

That's what we kept coming back to when we were building
this. Not what the jewellery looked like. What it felt like to wear it.

We spent a long time looking at silver — a lot of it —
before we put this collection together. Most of it didn't make the cut. What's
here is what we'd actually reach for on a regular day. Nothing more. Nothing
less.

No occasion required.

Kimaaya is for her. For him. Honestly, for whoever
shows up with a good eye and a preference for keeping things simple.

We're just getting started. But we think you'll find
